The Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Hasan Kalyoncu University, held an external stakeholder meeting to evaluate clinical practice processes and to strengthen university–healthcare institution collaboration.
Representatives of the Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of Health, the Nurse Educator of Şahinbey Training and Research Hospital, the Nurse Educator of the Children’s Hospital, and the mentor nurses who guide our students’ clinical practice attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the clinical practice processes of nursing students were comprehensively evaluated, and the strengths of current practices and the areas that need improvement were discussed. In line with the experiences encountered in the clinical education process and the views of the stakeholders, suggestions were shared to improve the quality of education, and opinions were exchanged on joint plans for the future.
We hope that this meeting, held with a spirit of mutual cooperation and continuous improvement, will make significant contributions to the development of our students’ clinical education experiences and to strengthening the integration of education and practice.
