Dear Students and Student Candidates;
As Hasan Kalyoncu University Department of Nursing, we aim to educate our students with an understanding of universal values that can effectively use education, practice, research, management and leadership roles in protecting, developing and maintaining the health of individuals, families and society.
The most important feature that distinguishes our department from equivalent programs is the presence of strong academic staff in seven disciplines and the breadth of application areas. Approximately two-thirds of our undergraduate course curriculum includes clinical and field practice. The number of students per academic staff is low compared to many schools. Our students are able to practice in the presence of faculty members. The presence of skill and advanced technology simulation laboratories in our department provides our students with the opportunity to practice with real patients after they have full skills in nursing interventions.
Our nursing program, which consists of theoretical courses, laboratory and practice areas, has been prepared to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by university education and to provide social and cultural development. The nursing profession, which is in the first place among the rapidly developing professions with guaranteed employment, also offers various opportunities in terms of academic career. Our graduates have the opportunity to continue their postgraduate education in our department.
