The II. Elderly Council Provincial Workshop, organized by the Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services on 14 August 2025, was held. Within the scope of the workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Eda ATAY of the Hasan Kalyoncu University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing was assigned and took part in the program.
At the workshop, which addressed policies and practices aimed at improving the health, care and social living conditions of older individuals, expert academics and representatives of relevant institutions came together and made assessments on current problems and solution proposals in the field of old age.
During the workshop, opinions and suggestions were shared on the health needs of older individuals, the development of care services, and strengthening community-based support mechanisms. The program concluded with the sharing of information and experience among participants.
