Between 7 and 14 April 2025, as part of career introduction activities, students from Erdem College visited our Department of Nursing. During the visit, we hosted our students in our simulation laboratory and introduced them to the basic practices of the nursing profession.
Students were also given the opportunity to experience various nursing interventions, including patient care practices, basic life support and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid practices, hand hygiene, and putting on gloves and gowns.
In addition, the questions students had about the nursing profession were answered, and information was shared about the importance of the profession, its responsibilities and the opportunities it offers.
