The undergraduate program of the Department of Nursing within the Faculty of Health Sciences was established on 25/08/2011 and started education in the 2011-2012 academic year. The master’s program started in 2014-2015, and the doctoral program started education in the 2015-2016 academic year. Hasan Kalyoncu University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, undergraduate education program includes full-time 4-year nursing education. The courses are carried out theoretically and practically. Nursing Program language is Turkish. Graduates who successfully complete the undergraduate program in nursing receive the “Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing” degree and the “Nurse” title. As of 2019, our department has 4 Professors, 4 Dr. He continues his undergraduate and graduate education and research activities with a faculty member, 3 lecturers and 4 research assistants.
Nursing Program Educational Objectives
- Health care service for healthy/sick individuals, family and community needs; They are employed in first, second and third level health care institutions and in the health-related departments of universities, where they can offer holistic, ethical principles in accordance with national and international standards of care, with a systematic problem-solving approach.
- Within 5 years after graduation, they take on the role of researcher, educator and leader who will guide the development of care and the profession in a team understanding, based on scientific data and technology, with innovative applications.
